Emily Soto

Program Coordinator, CCEDC

Emily Sewilo is a dedicated and community-focused professional committed to supporting local businesses, enhancing economic development, and creating meaningful connections throughout Carbon County and beyond. As Program Coordinator for the Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC), Emily brings a dynamic background in marketing, communications, event coordination, and community outreach. In her role, she focuses on growing Chamber membership, promoting impactful events, and strengthening the vital link between businesses and the communities they serve.

A graduate of Kutztown University, Emily holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Media Theory and Strategy, where she developed a strong foundation in digital marketing, public relations, and audience engagement strategies. She began her professional career at the Lehigh Valley Zoo, where she served as Manager of Communications, overseeing public relations, content creation, marketing campaigns, and event promotions. Most recently, she expanded her experience through key roles supporting local businesses in the healthcare and retail sectors, managing social media, digital content, and community-facing initiatives.

Outside of her professional work, Emily enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, especially her niece and nephews. She loves discovering new restaurants, exploring local activities around the Lehigh Valley and Carbon County, and taking walks along area trails with her beloved dog, Molly.
