Leadership Carbon is an adult Leadership
Development Program designed to cultivate leaders for the
benefit of Carbon County's future. |

When: |
Leadership Carbon is a 9-month program
and will meet on the first Wednesday of each month starting
in September until May. |
|
Why: |
| Leadership Carbon was established
due to a need in Carbon County to increase its leadership
resources and capacity. |
|
How will we accomplish
this: |

By identifying potential community
leaders of diverse backgrounds;

By developing their potential for
and encouraging their acceptance of civic responsibilities
and leadership;

By exposing up and coming leaders
to the structure, opportunities, and challenges in Carbon
County;
-
By opening significant dialogue among
emerging and existing leaders;
-
By building a realistic understanding
of leadership roles, including the problems and implications
of leadership;
-
By assisting to place new leaders
into local leadership roles.
